Wow, it’s chilly here!! It’s all good, because I love New York. It has been wonderful to see Jennifer and Marc and those beautiful babies. I am just in awe of them. Of course, Jennifer looks fantastic, flawless as always, and I shared with her all the wonderful comments that so many of you shared with me about how happy you are for them. She loved them all. Of course, tonight I am going to try to go to sleep early, so I can get up in the morning and go see them again, but not before I do a little shopping online. I feel so guilty and sad (I know, it’s a sickness) when I don’t get out in the city to shop when I am here. I haven’t had a single chance. I had dinner tonight with my girlfriend Leah Remini (Kings of Queen tv show) and my other girlfriend Anna at Il Mulino in the city tonight and it was fantastic. How can you stop eating with all the fantastic pasta in your face, and why do the portions have to be so big???? Of course, I polished it off and promised myself that I am going to start fresh in the morning and get back on track (how many times have I said that this week:) Just got home not too long ago, and since I am stuffed, and ready to chill out, I decided to jump online and see what is hot. Leah was wearing this fantastic trench coat tonight. Loved it!! They are so stylish this season and look fantastic with everything. I love them because they make everything look chic. I decided to go online and pick up a new one…inspired by Leah’s. So check this out…Here is the real one (love it) and it is super expensive but still on the portal and I can pick it up at Nordstrom and earn IBV (love to justify it that way, because it helps everyone out)… and it is made by Burberry and I love their clothing this season. They have such a cool rock and roll look to them and I think just this past year they have really made a strong comeback…their prices came back strong also:) $2995.00, but then I decided to check out Target to see what they have for a “real deal”… and look what I found. I love this jacket. It looks just as chic and fantastic and I think I like the color even better. I for sure love the price. I mean for $69.99, I have to have it. Even if I only it wear it once, and I know it will look super chic, it is definitely worth the money. You decide for yourself. Real vs. Deal… I love them both… but for now, this super city chic trench, will do just the trick, satisfy my appetite and leave my wallet extra happy. After all, everyone wants a great deal, and look fabulous all at once. (by the way, you figure out which is the “real” and which is the “deal”)

Wow… Yes, it is true!!!! Jennifer and Marc are the proud new parents of a beautiful baby girl and a gorgeous baby boy. (I will let her tell you the names…but they are adorable) I can’t tell you how excited JR and I are. This has been something that we have all been waiting for and I know Jennifer has waited for this moment for so long. She and Marc are thrilled and incredibly happy and everyone is healthy. I will pass on your many thoughts and well wishes. We are leaving on Sunday for NYC for the week to get to know our beautiful niece and nephew and to help Jennifer and Marc in anyway. It is amazing to me how excited JR is about these babies. He is such an incredible father. I remember how excited he was when Amber was born. He wanted me to leave the hospital that day… (Or at least Amber go home with him:) Babies bring so much joy into the world. They teach us love and laughter and remind us what it is like to dream again. I know we have learned far more from Amber than she has learned from us. I love seeing myself or JR in her. JR has been bouncing off the walls everyday this month anticipating our new arrivals. In fact, we have scheduled everything around this…or we thought we had, because she wasn’t officially due, for a couple more days, so he flew to Aspen for the weekend to ski and now he is HAPPY to turn around and come home early to see these beautiful babies. (I think he will try to get one more ski run in first:) and then we are off….. I wanted to send Jenn something today so I decided to go on our portal to order some flowers (which I did)…the flower club is perfect for that and I got the cutest arrangement. It is called “Just Ducky”… check it out…for $46.95, it looks fantastic and it’s adorable and best of all, you get 20% BV (not IBV). Then I decided to go shopping by searching “baby gifts” and I was pleasantly surprised to see all the great gift ideas marketamerica.com has to offer. There were so many great choices that I couldn’t just choose one…Check out this adorable baby doll for infants from our partner, Toys R Us. It’s so cute and its musical which I love as much as the baby does and its only $29.99 and you get 7% IBV…pretty good…and you sure make some little special one happy. Today is such a special day for us…and of course, I am sure that many of you may be experiencing the miracle of life today, either thru your own child, a grandchild or a best friend.
Wow..it has been an amazing couple of weeks. Of course coming off the Leadership school was the most amazing adrenline rush, and then we went to Costa Rica for 2 days which was incredible. Alejandro won his 17th grammy and we went with him to see his last concert of 40,000 people screaming his name. It was pretty spectacular. I mean, here people are hardly make a couple hundered dollars a month and spend their money going to see someone who makes them feels good for a couple of hours. The people are so happy there and they are all wonderful. It was amazing. The President of Costa Rica was there with us supporting Alejandro and his country. I understand it, music soothes the soul. It makes you feel good, it can change your mood from bad to good, music can lift your spirits. The concert made us feel great. I love watching a artist who loves to sing…just sing his heart out. Alejandro does that with his heart. His last concert was supposed to be in Venezuela, however Chavez banned him from his country because Alejandro spoke about him being a dictator, after he cancelled Alejandro twice from performing there. How terrible to take away the love of music from people’s hearts and souls…it is like taking away their FREEDOM…that is what Chavez did. I love music. I know that Kevin Buckman spends so much of his time on the portal on itunes! It is his favorite store because he loves how music makes him feel. He spends hours on it at night, listening to new artists and downloading his old favorites, and of course he gets IBV for doing it on the portal. I mean why not…you can change your mood in a moment, get paid for it and share it with others. Kevin gets it, JR and I get it, and Alejandro gets it for sure. In a world of Apple iphones and Apple ipods, why not use Apple itunes on the portal and soon the marketamerica.com entertainment portal to download all of your hearts desire’s. Listening to music to take you back in time. Have you ever listened to a song and your mind can take you all the way back to that moment, you can almost remember exactly what you were doing at the time. (I guess sometimes you dont want to remember that moment, but most of the time it makes you smile:) It makes you feel young again. I wish peace and freedom to all those in the world…and to those in Venezuela, I wish you love and peace, knowing Alejandro cant wait to sing to you one day. I was speaking to him about it the other day and he said, “Loren, I wont stop until I can sing to the people of Venezuela, and I will one day.” and I believe him… I know he will. Until then, Let the Music Play…
much love and freedom,
Loren

WOW!!! I mean what else can I say…this past weekend was spectacular and a magic moment for JR and I and all of the corporate team. It’s like the Christmas, you get so excited and it takes so much preparation before everyone comes in to town, you love seeing your family even though it’s a lot of work, and of course, you are always somewhat sad when everyone leaves:)…but then you realize its time to get back to work!!! It’s time to get busy…there was so much incredible energy, information and new friendships being formed…so much happening in one place. The world must think we are all nuts, but in my opinion, the world needs more people like all of us. I love the way it makes me feel to meet new people and see old faces. I love what takes place in between the sessions, upstairs and in the concourse. I always make an effort to go up there and talk to as many people as I can, because I get to meet so many new people and hear some beautiful stories. Everyone who participated was incredible, most importantly YOU. Thank you for making us feel so special. We love all of you and feel your love and appreciate and thank god for it every single day. Last night we celebrated the success of the weekend by having the team on the boat as well as Paulina Rubio. (she was incredible on stage:) We had so much fun, even though I was so delirioulsy tired. She was so happy and thrilled to perform for you. She had a blast because of you. I had plans to stop by Nikki Beach with JR to say hello to everyone, but even though my heart my there, my body wouldn’t cooperate and I needed to sleep. I woke up this morning, thinking it was Saturday and jumped out of bed, took a shower, only to kick myself when I realized it was Sunday:) (have you ever done that?) Then it was too hard to go back to sleep, so here I am sending you a message before I crash hard tonight. Tommorrow we are leaving for Costa Rica for 2 days. Alejandro Sanz won the grammy tonight for Best Pop Album, and we are going to celebrate with him there and see his last concert on his tour. Costa Rica is a beautiful place, the people are so amazing…They dont have much, but whatever they have, they are happy. That makes me happy. I love that they have the pacific and the carribean sea as well as the rain forest, and volcanoes. It is a spectacular country. I will pack light… jeans (Genetic, of course) and a t-shirt for the show…my MBT tennis shoes for walking in the rain forest. Remember the Genetic jeans will be on the portal this week and they have so many styles to choose from. You’ll love them and you will buy them for less at marketamerica.com than ANYWHERE ELSE. Although it will be a fast trip and I am in need of some rest, you have to be there for your friends, afterall, he came for us this past weekend. I will come home on Wednesday and get busy with GOOGLE on our new search program. I can’t wait. Shopping will be easier than ever. You will be able to find all the things you love and compare prices. I like that. Life is complicated sometimes, lets keep this one simple. Well it’s bed time now, and JR is sound asleep. I am going to snuggle with my husband and get ready for our fast, and beautiful trip. I will give you guys some great information on some cool ideas for shopping this week, and some incredible deals, just as soon as I return. In Costa Rica, the people are so happy as I said, that they have a tradition. Every day instead of saying hello or hi, they say pura vida which mean PURE LIFE. So until tommorrow…
Pura Vida and much love,
Loren

Well Super Bowl came and went! Congratulations to the Giants!! I have to admit I am a Giants fan, being from NYC and all…It was funny watching the game surrounded by all the men I love. My husband of course, and then both my brothers Marc Ashley and Steve Ashley were there as well as both Andrews and our friend and former heavy weight champion of the world, Lennox Lewis. We had a nice time and of course everyone always eats too much. (we are sure to have a food hangover tomorrow:) The guys love Super Bowl, whether they normally watch sports or not, it’s kind of like a tradition, I am sure you know what I mean…After the game Brooke and Amber came and spent some time with everyone, which was very nice. It is hard to get your kids to wanna hang out with their parents.(I have officially become my mother:) As the guys were watching the game, I started to think about the Leadership School week coming up and how excited I am. There are so many exciting things that we will be sharing with everyone coming into town. I just know everyone will have a great time and there is always someting special about all of us coming together. It really recharges our batteries and gets us all pumped up! So many people will be here and Miami is such an exciting place. Be sure to visit some of the great restaurants in our city as there are so many. If you are smart you will buy some gift certificates thru Restaurant.com, where you can get a gift certificate for $10 – $25 for ONLY $3-$10… I mean how can you beat that. (you have to eat anyways, right) Plus if you use your Market America credit card, you will get double IBV…all for eating.. What other company do you know that pays you for eating? Most importantly, you will get to experience the great flavor Miami has to offer at a fraction of the cost. Great restaurants for an incredible value and get paid back to! This week is sure to be the best Leardership School yet. I can’t wait to see everyone. Great experiences will take place this week. Some of the best experiences will take place in between the meetings, when you have the opportunity to get to know one another and share great information…be sure to take advantage of every single second!!! I sure will.
