I'm Back!
It seems like an eternity since we have talked. Although maybe its just been a few days. I am back in Miami after spending wonderful time with Jenn and Marc and Max and Emme. They are a beautiful family. Miami is beautiful this time of year and it is good to be home. It has been a crazy week. Some days not so great, but always much more good, and we have so much to be grateful for. I know everyone has weeks like this, (people letting you down, spending too much time handling things that someone else should have done, etc etc) so it is just a matter of keeping your head high and keep plugging away. When things seem like this, it sure is nice to have YOU to talk to. (I already feel better:) So here I am at 3:30 am, and the best thing for me to do before going to bed and starting fresh again is to share with you. We had some friends over for the movie premiere of "Bella" tonight. It is an incredible movie and it won "Best Movie" at the Toronto Film Festival. Our dear friend Eduardo is the star of it (girls, you can check him out cause he is as sweet on the inside as he is cute on the outside) The movie has an incredible message about love, family and life. We invited a few friends to see it. Bruce Weber the ledgendary photographer came as well as Mike Piazza and a few others. Everyone was touched by it. (All the guys shed more than a few tears, which is always nice to see in a very warm way) I am going to start fresh tommorrow writing you daily. But I didn't want to go to bed without speaking with you. This is the way for me to recharge my batteries when they are running low. So no fashion tips tonight, or great suggestions (except check out Singer 22 for the most adorable and latest looks) but I will be back tommorrow bright eyed, recharged and ready to go.
Just for love,
Loren

Loren,
Although I was sad to read that you had a rough day, it solitified that we all face the same challenges regardless of stature, education or financial backround.
I must share with you that I have watched your opening from this past Leadership countless times. You were amazing! Everytime I watch, I feel like I am back in the arena seeing and hearing it again for the first time. I get excited all over again and remember why I chose to take this journey. I have forwarded the link to everyone in my contact list encouraging them to also get their batteries recharged and to feel the magic all over again.
Thank you for continuing to support the vision, the company and all of us that are in the trenches making a difference in our lives and the lives of others.
Have a wonderful day and I look forward to seeing you at Convention.

Hi Loren! Your blog is awesome; I enjoy all of the great fashion tips - I need all the help I can get! I'm excited about "Bella", I definitely want to see it.
It's so nice to hear you mention Mike Piazza. I have been a fan of his for years! I hope he and Alicia are doing well and their sweet little Nicoletta!

Finally! It has been quite the week for me, too! I get to my desk and check the blog...nothing. I check again in the afternoon...nothing. Day in, day out. Nothing. hehehehe :) I'm just jokin' with ya, of course! It is great to have you back! It is important to recharge once in a while and also recognize how wonderful our lives really are.
"Bella" sounds like a great movie. I look forward to checking it out!
Lastly, these posts don't always have to be about fashion, per se. We all have an inner style, or fashion, so to speak. This post represents an insight on your inner style. Just as Dr. Tucker stated, we all share many of the same challenges, but it is great to find a way to recharge and be grateful. This blog is my avenue for that. We get a glimpse into the lives of the Ridingers and can further appreciate the power of MA and the impact that it has made, and will continue to make, on so many lives. Much love - The Wooch

Loren, your blog came at the perfect moment today, my partner and I were on the phone annoyed with the day, my new prospect didn't show up, her business is hitting a new low and we decided being an adult is just not what it's cracked up to be!
So as we were talking I starting reading your blog and as I read it to her we laughed and said "Wow it's nice to hear even Loren has tough days and weeks so let's keep our chin up and we'll get thru it.."
Thanks for letting us know you are human and that you have ups and downs, It's hard to imagine that when every time we see you you are on top of the world with all the new advancements the company is making also thanks for taking the time to show us a piece of your world and for caring about us little guys who haven't quite made it yet.
Thanks again, Gina

Loren, your blog came at the perfect moment today. My partner and I were down and out about my prospect not showing up and her business hitting a new low.
Right then, when we were complaining about how much it stinks to be an adult I read your blog and we said Yeah, we're not alone! So we said Loren is right, we need to keep our chin up.
So thank you for giving us a glimpse
into you life and showing us that we all have these
moments, because we see you on top of the world with all the achievements MA comes through with and it nice to see we are not alone when you write to us and make us feel that we are important to you and JR even as we struggle to make it all happen for ourselves. Thanks again for that, it's cool to have you connect with us, All the best, Gina

oh geez, I didn't know the 1st one went thru. This is the 1st time in my life blogging and since the screen went blank, because I didn't have an account, I figured it didn't go thru. Sorry about that! Well then one day when I'm on stage with you I'll introduce my self and we'll laugh...
Take care AGAIN, Gina

Must be something in the air, as I'm having a rough week too - my pre-teen son refusing to get out of bed in the morning and the "mommy guilt" after I yelled at him all the way to school! Guess we're all human, huh? Then, tonight, I decided to start reading Kimora's book "Fabulosity". I had ordered it right after convention and it's been sitting there staring me in the face ever since. My son and I read together every night and tonight her book was screaming "pick me!" I read her Introduction and the first chapter and I must say, she has me so fired up that I can't stand myself! I can't wait for Chapter Two! I am ready to take on the world - tomorrow's a new day!!!
Thank you, Loren, for always inspiring us and for bringing beautiful people into our "world" to do the same! Keep on sharing!
N :)

Loren, you're going to get me in trouble, even with IBV! I read your blog and of course have to go shopping and buy your recommendations. My husband sees the emails come in confirming my purchases (which I love) and he keeps asking me where I find all these things...I'm sorry but I have to blame you :) Thanks for keeping us in style.

I agree it's been one of "those" weeks. I thought I'd feel better and earn some IBV too by ordering some Genetic Denim Jeans. How do I figure out the sizing and can I return them if they don't fit right?

Hello Lauren,
I am 14 and just wanted to say that I really look up to you and of course Lydia (the transisitions lady...sooo pretty.) Everyone has rough days, yes a 14 yr old. I am moving to Brooksville, FL (your 6 hour away neighboor). Anyway, I love Abercrombie & Fitch and Lacoste I was wondering if you like those brands for teenagers.
