I AM BACK!!! I MISSED YOU...

I know it's been forever and seems like it for me also. I have been under the weather for over a week as well, as helping my daughter get over a terrible cold (there must be something in the air) but I feel so much better. Of course, I know the perfect vitamins to help you re-cover fast:) We are not the type of people who get sick very much. Maybe because we take so many vitamins, so when we get sick it is rare, but it kicks our butts when it does hit. So I am glad I feel much better. I have been in NYC for a week with our friends Alejandro Sanz and Raquel who are staying with us and even though I have been under the weather we have laughed so much everyday. Laughing is the best medicine. I mean it just feels so good to have a great laugh. If you haven't tried it lately, then you should. I mean sometimes the littlest, stupidest things and your dying laughing. That is the type of laughing we do. We went to lunch yesterday with Eva Cavalli (the famous designer Roberto Cavalli's wife) and Jack and Anna our great friends and partners in Genetic Denim and Kimora Lee Simmons. We laughed so hard at nothing, in fact, we were just flat out silly, when Eva said, "Loren. I love being with you guys, people who love their friends and each other and laugh so much", and I realized that we were lucky, and that not enough people laugh as much as they should and could. I mean think about it. It is a luxury that anyone can have. I mean you can do something silly yourself and just laugh so hard all by yourself:) I do it all the time.:) and laughing makes you feel sooooo good. You should do more of it, everyone should do more of it. The most important thing about laughing is that it is contagious. Which makes me think of Jennifer who laughs all the time with me. We had Jennifer and Marc's christening of the twins on Saturday and of course it was a magical moment for us. Emme and Maximillian are so beautiful and so good. Jennifer and Marc are just the happiest people ever. I mean she has waited for this moment for so long and everything is just perfect. Babies are so beautiful, I mean they are the gift of life. It makes you realize how special children are and how much happiness they bring to us and bring to the world. It is hard to believe that they grow up so fast. It seemed like yesterday that I had Amber but of course she is all grown up and featured in Ocean Drive Magazine as the Miami "It" girl ( http://www.oceandrive.com/hybrid/features/stars/index.html.)..I guess I am officially my mother:) BUT I DON'T MIND AT ALL!!! I love every moment of my life that is happening so fast...(although I will fight gravity with every vitamin and cream we have :) Life is precious and you need to work hard and play hard like us. Just when I have worked a long full day and think I cannot fit in another thing more, we find a way to do it. We jumped on the boat the weekend before arriving NYC and went to Cat Cay Island, a private island in the Bahamas with Alejandro and Raquel and laughed and laughed. That was a funny one and some great stories for another time. I am laughing in bed thinking about it. Tonight, Jennifer and Marc are driving to the city to have dinner with us at a fabulous Italian restaurant. (of course she will be home early because she hates to be away from the babies for too long, but she is smart enough to still make date night with her husband) Then after dinner, we will come back to the apartment and listen to some music and laugh and be silly together. That's what we do. Really, that is what we do. Do silly dances, and make silly faces, stimulate each other and make each other laugh. That is what your friends should do. Bring you up, not down, make you smile not cry, make you laugh when you are sad...and all of that. That's why I have such special friends, because we make sure we do that for each other. You make sure you are doing that for your friends and that they are doing that for you, or you may have to do a bit of cleaning up:) All is great is life and we are all very lucky... Amber is arriving NYC today and I am so excited to see her. Of course she will go with us to dinner because we love for her to go with us whenever she will:)... plus she loves her Aunt Jenn and Uncle Marc so it will be a perfect night for me cause I get to see my friends but be with my daughter who I have missed so much. She came to NYC with us last Sunday but left on Thursday to go back to Miami for a few days and see her friends. So 4 days is long enough for me, plus we are all leaving for a family vacation to Madrid tomorrow. We are going to be staying at Alejandro's ranch for 2 weeks. I am thrilled because with all the places we have been, we have never been to Spain. So I mean who better to go to Spain with, then the legendary Alejandro Sanz. We are so thrilled and excited. All of our friends are coming to visit us while we are there, because they don't want to be away from us or Alejandro and Raquel for that long:) Paulina and Nicolas are coming, Shakira and Antonio are coming and my brother Marc Ashley and Maria are coming. So this will be the best time cause everyone is staying at Alejandro's house, like one big family. I love that... I guess I will have a lot to tell you everyday. I will be checking in daily with little tips and thoughts...so stay tuned. I know I talked forever this morning but I had a lot to share with you. Well, I need to start getting packed, so I can enjoy dinner tonight and then be off in a moment to beautiful Spain.
So until next time...adios and te quiero mucho,
Loren

    Dear Loren,

I have been "silly" my whole life. My wife even raises her eyebrows at me often, but she smiles. Many people think I'm weird, but they laugh. Truly laugter is "good medicine." Thanks for validating that I am normal. Have fun in Spain. Don't forget, "The rain in Spain, stays mainly on the plain." :)

Thank you for living your life.

    Love Yah,

    Loren,

I don't know if you realized this...but you forgot to invite me with you. :oP

I am very glad you're feeling better. I know you felt horrible for a few days, it really makes one consider how lucky we are to have such fantastic products.

All is well in Missouri. Today I held two kick offs in my home (lunch and evening). Great turnouts for both.

One of my distributors Jennie brought an amazing young man with her to the kick off. He has been in the United States for two years (originally from Kazakhstan) and is SOOOOOO excited about Market America. He has already bought a ticket to our April 26th local seminar with Pay & Penny Lafferty. OHHHH and the best part is that he wants to major in MOTIVES...because he is quite the ladies man. Expect to see him in Greensboro at Convention.

Tell Amber that she is STUNNING in Ocean Drive. Just like her mother. Have a great time in Spain. I expect pictures!

    Love ya,

There is nothing better in life than getting together w/ friends and laughing. I was out last night for my belated birthday celebration w/ my high school girlfriends and it was quite a raucous, festive night at Seymour Burton in the East Village. I had them go on my Web portal to fragrancenet.com--(they had e-mailed me coupons) and chip in for a bottle of Kelly Caleches by Hermes. I love how this fragrance smells. Plus, they also went to the Target site through my site and got me a gift certificate. I was so happy! I keep training them to shop for me through my portal! Dara from Stamford, CT
