I caught a glimpse of Scarlett Johansson at a recent Mango event and was blown away by her flawless skin. Anyone who’s spent a significant amount of time around actresses and models can attest to the fact that they usually fall victim to bad skin (rigorous work schedule and all). Scarlett couldn’t be further from the stereotype. Her powder-fresh skin, pinched cheeks, and bold orangey-red lip were perfection. DIY with these three easy steps:

1. Get the same porcelain skin with Motives Luminous Translucent Pressed Powder in Light/Medium. It gives a matte—never caked-on—finish. Apply a thin layer all over, even your eyelids. Retouch as needed throughout the day.

2. Pick a pale rose shade of blush, like Motives Pressed Blush in Runway, and dot along your cheekbones. Be sure to blend up and away from your nose, toward your hairline. This helps open up your face.

3. Find the right, flattering shade of red for you. If you have pale skin, like Scarlett, try something with a bit more orange, like Motives Rich Formula Lipstick in Go Red. For darker skin, you’ll want something deeper.

Lots of love,
Loren
