Motives Beauty – No More Dry Lips, Ever!

April 2nd // 8 Comments

I don’t know about you, but the minute the seasons start to change my lips completely dry up—there’s nothing more annoying! In the past, I’ve tried everything: sugar scrubs that were too harsh, piling on moisturizers that left my lips dryer than before when they wore off, I even battled a Chapstick addiction for awhile. None of these so-called remedies truly got to the root of the problem, nor did they solve it. And I realized that if this irked me so much, it must be true for everyone else…so began my quest to create the right series of lip moisturizing treatments.

Here’s what I came up with:

Motives by Loren Ridinger Lip Pumice
Motives by Loren Ridinger Lip Pumice available for $14.95

Unlike other scrubs, a rich moisturizer surrounds the tiny granulars in this tubed exfoliant. So as dead skin is delicately sloughed off, an intense skin-softening treatment is immediately sinking in.

Motives by Loren Ridinger Vitamin C Lip Treatment

I like to use this nutrient-packed balm before I go to bed and first thing in the morning. It’s a proactive step to curing dry lips before they even happen!

Motives by Loren Ridinger Hydrating Lip Balm

At last count, I have three tubes of this in use—one in my car, one at my desk, and one in my bag. It softens, plumps, and has a fresh, citrusy scent and taste.

If you’ve ever used any of these great products, what did you think? Got a favorite? Share it in the comments section!

Love,
Loren

LOVE the Vit C lip treatment at night and in the morning – it *IS* a great way to keep the moisture in all day/night! I miss having the lip applicator with it’s own cover/case, though. :( I used to keep this in several places but ever since I lost the other applicator, I only have it at home. I don’t like to apply this with my finger which is why the applicator was so great. Will you bring back the lip applicator with cover/case so that I can keep it in multiple locations? Pleeeaaaassseeee???? :)

I can’t wait for these to be available in Australia…you think the weather is drying to your lips in the US…try 4 seasons that dry out your lips! This is going to change the face(s) of Australia…

I love all three of these products! I also find that the hydration and vitamin C found in these products help keep the fine lip lines away as well! The hydrating lip balm is so good that using it with a overlay of the the lip plumper gloss creates a beautiful and very natural lip! And I concur with Jessie – the lip crayons are simply the best!

I have noticed since I’ve been wearing the new Motives Lip Crayons that my lips are soft and not dry at all. I apply the Lip Crayon and top it off with a Lip Plumper. Fabulous.
