Do or Don’t? Mother/Daughter Clothes Swap

November 16th // 1 Comment

There have been plenty of times I have seen Amber wearing something fabulous I wish I could borrow, but then I remind myself certain items are best left to thoseĀ  under age. However, if the two of you have the same size and body type there are some items you can share (think classic and elegant pieces, just styled differently). I pulled these photos of famous mother/daughter duos so you can see how the pieces they are wearing can work for both.

This beautiful and sophisticated jacket worn by Rumor Willis is a piece mom Demi Moore could also wear. It has a conservative shape with a sexy cutout – the perfect balance.

For a more casual look henley shirts, tees and hoodies can be worn by both mother and daughter. Check out Madonna and her daughter Lourdes below.

What items do you share?

My daughter and I have shared clothing – they think I dress too “old” but at almost 60, I have to dress age appropriate. I agree, as long as the look is classic, you can wear it for years and not look outdated or faddish.
