The start of baseball season prompts some pressing questions: Who are the real contenders this season? Are the pitch-tipping charges against A-Rod valid? And, seriously, how should you dress for a game at one of the most awesome ballparks?
(Which, for the record, include my top 5: Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, AT&T Park, Citi Field and Dodger Stadium.)
Anyway! Since we’re talking about a great American sport, I’m gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that you resist the siren song of the ubiquitous nylon dude ensemble and wear some great American sportswear. Now that NBA has ratcheted up its style in the stands, it seems only fitting for baseball fans to step up to the plate.
So put your hands together for…
- A polo shirt and jeans.
- A nice T-shirt and jeans.
- Any kind of tennis shoes (okay, I like Stan Smith)

My other suggestion is that you stick with dark colors in case you get mixed up with some mustard/hot dog detritus. Other tips? Anyone?
Love,
Loren
