I try to be as environmentally conscious as possible, but it’s difficult to find out just how eco-friendly items are if I end up on a spontaneous shopping spree (that happens a lot!). My daughter told me about GoodGuide – a mobile web application that will let me look up the environmental and health ratings for over 70,000 products! It works instantly and I can even create lists of items I have or am thinking about shopping for in the future. There is an iPhone application on iTunes you can download for free, and if you don’t have a mobile phone with web access you can send GoodGuide a text message and they will send you the info!
Such an easy way to shop smarter!
