There seems to be a domino effect happening with three popular designers: they will be announcing their expansion into jewelry for Spring 2010. Thakoon Panichgul, Milly, and Alice + Olivia are all taking the plunge. Thakoon is designing a diffusion line for the luxury Japanese label, Tasaki, which is all very hush-hush at the moment. Milly is introducing perfectly tangled chain necklaces and tribal-inspired rings to her repertoire, and Alice + Olivia is delving into beaded leather cuffs and metal crochet bib necklaces. I got to check out a few pieces from Milly and Alice + Olivia, which couldn’t be cuter, but am still patiently waiting to see what Thakoon comes out with.
