Kevin Federline, aka K-Fed, aka Britney’s ex is the latest celebrity to hop on the designer train — the real question though, will anyone buy his clothing?

Currently, K-Fed is in talks with Gerard Guez about a licensing deal and even spent some time at the Project trade show in Las Vegas. According to Britney’s ex, “it’s a really tough business, I’m trying to take it seriously and make a quality product for kids but not have parents pay like $500 or something ridiculous for a pair of jeans.”

“You buy your kids a pair of True Religions then they roll around in the dirt like kids do and a $200 pair of jeans is gone. With this economy, I’m looking to do something much more reasonable.” No word yet on the name of the line or a when it might be released.

Would you buy K-Fed’s designs?

Much love,
Loren

    Brandon,

I agree with you. Pricetag is definitely important. If he can come up with a pair of jeans for kids that isn’t $200 per pair, he has a good chance of selling a lot of jeans.

I like what he is saying as far as not paying a million dollars for a pair of jeans that cant seem to keep up with the kids wearing them. I dont think being who he is will affect any buying habits of a parent shopping for jeans for one or more of their children, what will affect their buying or not buying, but rather the pricetag. That being said I dont have any kids myself, haha. Thank you for all that you do.
