Steal This Look – Cameron Diaz on the Set of “Bad Teacher”

March 31st // 3 Comments

What do you think is the ultimate wardrobe workhorse? For me – even beyond jeans – it’s the black cardigan! It’s great with jeans, trousers or skirts, perfect for work or the weekend, sweet over a bathing suit or casually chic over a cocktail dress. My favorites are made of thin cashmere or fine cotton. Trust me, once you buy one, your closet will become a much more interesting place.

How To Tip – Dressing Around Coral

March 30th // 5 Comments

A few weeks ago I wrote a post about Iman and Kristen Stewart looking amazing in bright coral dresses. Ever since I’ve seen coral pieces all over the place. Clearly it’s a huge trend for spring and actually a lot more versatile than you might think. Don’t be intimidated by its brightness, its impact totally depends on what you pair it with. For instance, white or black is just going to make bright coral look brighter. Try these unexpected combinations instead:

Coral and Army Green

This earthy green color acts as a neutral—like khaki or brown—and doesn’t pick up the red tones in coral that can make it look muddy.

Coral and Raspberry

Though similar, these two shades actually work to neutralize each other. The effect is dramatic without being polarizing.

Coral and Seafoam

This pale greenish-blue shade is another huge trend this season. Together, this combo feels cool and beachy.

Well I got my hands on some photos of celebrities signing their bags (which were actually luggage – too cute!) before having them auctioned off to benefit the American Cinematheque!

Men’s Travel Style – Your Best Spring Break Investment

March 30th // Comment Here

Congratulations! You’re no longer a student traveling with a pillowcase stuffed with dirty laundry and a backpack. You’ve reached the stage where you appreciate a freshly pressed shirt. So it’s time to invest in some serious luggage – your only defense against the epidemic of airport schlumpiness. The right suitcase will last for a lifetime (and make you look cooler at the baggage carousel).

My favorite luggage sources: Stacks& Stacks, Macy’s (for its great collection of Tumi luggage) and Bluefly.com (for Prada discounts galore).

What brand of luggage do you trust most?

Love,

Loren
