It’s the first day of February! Can you believe it? I was doing my makeup this morning and I realized that as the day speeds up I just end up completely forgetting about my face! Done properly, the deep, sexy effect can last till I go to bed (or beyond), with no touch-ups required. I stained my lips this morning and they are still looking good!
The technique: Apply a wine-toned lipstick – like Motives Rich Formula Lipstick in Berry Sexy – blot with tissue, and repeat. You can add a touch of clear or pink gloss on top for bring it all to life. If the effect looks a little soft and imprecise (like you’ve just had a raspberry popsicle), so much the better :)
