After yesterday’s intense discussion over plus-size model Crystal Renn’s new ads for Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier, I thought it important to share the new London Fog campaign with you. London Fog really got it right when choosing the size 12 Christina Hendricks as their spokesmodel – she looks amazing and the company does a great job of showing off, not hiding, her curves:
The Mad Men star has been quoted saying:
“London Fog is a classic brand, which I love. It also ties in to Mad Men, we used London Fog in the show and this is a nice way to tie everything together. The trench is such an iconic shape for men and women. It works for anyone — it worked in the 1960s and it works now.”

I agree with all the comments, she is absolutely beautiful and it is fabulous that they are promoting her size which is in no way plus size at all so I have no idea where they get that from. Woman with curves (like myself as well) should stop covering and start showing them as in these pics!!

It’s astonishing that size 12 is considered plus but London Fog hit a home run with these ads – She is gorgeous, sexy with a body size and tone worth emulating. Thanks Loren.

I can NOT believe she is labeled as “plus size”!!!!! She looks like a REAL person, someone that we can all relate to! Thank you so much for showcasing her today, Loren!!! I would definitely buy from a company who shows women that we can have our curves and look great too!!!
