Two things stand out in my mind when I think back to Stella McCartney’s first collection for GapKids, which launched back in the fall – 1: the incredibly cute ad campaign featuring kids that were scouted on Facebook, and 2: the site of dozens of women size four and below trying to squeeze themselves into some of the pieces (you know who you are!). So with a second collaboration finally confirmed and set to hit stores in March, there are a few insider tips I thought I’d share for staying ahead of the frenzy.
- If what you want is sold out online (which happened in a matter of hours last time) check your local Gap. They tend to hold onto their stock longer and have more deliveries.
- Check the site early since new stock is usually available after 5 a.m.
- If you are buying something for your son or daughter (and not yourself), then buy a size bigger than normal. Last season’s pieces ran a tad small and it’s always better to have a bit of growing room, especially with clothes this cute!
P.S. Stayed tuned for photos of the collaboration soon!
