What do you think is the ultimate wardrobe workhorse? For me – even beyond jeans – it’s the black cardigan! It’s great with jeans, trousers or skirts, perfect for work or the weekend, sweet over a bathing suit or casually chic over a cocktail dress. My favorites are made of thin cashmere or fine cotton. Trust me, once you buy one, your closet will become a much more interesting place.

Personally I love to have a Black Cardigan in wardrobe, always very versatile. I have silk and cotton, but not a cashmere. Food for thought.

I’m really boring–my most versatile piece is black slacks–I change up the tops, sweaters, and jackets with accessories, etc. I can get a lot of mileage with a small budget that way.
