I pretty much planned my relaxing evening around watching the Grammy Awards last night – and the red carpet really bummed me out! I was so disappointed… nothing wowed me, to say the least. Instead of a gallery of who I thought should win Best Dressed, here are some photos of people who either need to hire a stylist, or get a new one.

When I heard Brit was making an appearance at the Grammy’s after years of being MIA, I was excited. Until this:
All of the glitter, sequins and metallics had me thinking Star Trek the whole time! On the plus side, there were interesting necklines, beautiful hair and makeup and Lady Gaga’s creations (cannot call them outfits!) that made the red carpet worth watching.

It seems as though many of the celebs were blindly reaching into their closets and tossing on the first thing they pulled out. Ciara and Brit both look like they tossed on doily type table clothes over top of their slips. Ke$ha appears to be trying the Charro look. Unfortunately for her the look only (somewhat) works on Charro. And I def agree about Katy Perry’s side boob thing. What is that? For once, I don’t think we’ll see Kathy Griffin on anyone’s Worst Dressed list :D

I think the line between couture and costume got a little fuzzy last night. I can’t help but wonder if some of the outfits were chosen just to generate publicity, good or bad, and had nothing to do with real style. Taylor Swift was one of the few real hits of the evening.

What is with the outfits that Brit and Ciara are wearing? If that’s the latest trend, I can do without. Yuck!!
Ke$ha’s make up looks awful! Did she do that herself? And if so, why?? There’s a time and a place for dark, smokey eyeshadow and with that outfit and the Grammy’s, that wasn’t the time.
