As of right now, the largest size available by a high-end designer at Saks Fifth Avenue is a 10. Come fall, that is all about to change! Labels like Chanel, YSL, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen and Fendi will be offering pieces up to a size 14 or possibly a 20.
The downside is that these items will only be available in New York – however, if all goes well you might see plus-size designer duds in Saks‘ all over the country in the future!

I think that it is great that the designers are conscious that, though, 10 is a magical size for most ladies; for too long they have ignored and even stigmatized those ladies who are full-bodied…and everyone deserves to look good while they transition themselves to a slimmer and healthier body on their way down from a 20 to a 14. Good idea.
