It’s the trend that makes any woman look cooler. In the quest to give well-worn summer staples a fresh look, a thin cotton scarf works far, far better than you’d imagine.

Go for ones in a delicate hue or with a metallic sheen – or join the New York/L.A. crowd and go for leopard-print. Here’s one of my favorites:

It’s the long, flowing look for me.
How about some tips on how to wear scarves of different lengths and styles? I like the middle picture of the first set, the purple scarf, and would like to know how to achieve that effect.

I’m short and the long scarves swallow me up…I prefer shorter ones. Love how they complete an outfit.

I prefer a more causal look, so the flowing bohemian effect is my favorite…reminds of white sand beaches, blue ocean and gorgeous flowers :)
