How much would you pay for the perfect designer jeans? Or a t-shirt so sexily draped (and cozy) you’d never want to wear another top again? $200? $500? More? Well, two of my favorite labels—Nanette Lepore and Rag & Bone—are tackling the challenge of redefining the “perfect basic” by launching companion collections that are both super specific and, in comparison to their regular lineup, super affordable.

Nanette Lepore’s Oonagh line (shown below) — which means “pure” in Scottish — is made up entirely of interestingly cut tunics and tees that retail for between $58 and $178. Rag & Bone is rolling out a whopping three lines: Rag & Bone/Knit, Rag & Bone/Jean, and Rag & Bone/Shirt, which I’m sure you guessed focus on knits, jeans, and shirts!

I’m still awaiting final confirmation on prices, but rumor has it that everything will be $200 or less. Both lines are scheduled to hit stores very soon. I for one can’t wait!

Loren
