Giles Deacon’s Decapitated Muppet Head Bag: Cute or Just Plain Morbid?

March 14th // 7 Comments

The fashion world cannot stop talking about this furry, jack-o-lantern-shaped bag by Brit designer Giles Deacon. It has been the topic of conversation everywhere and the consensus seems to be that it’s pure genius. I find it a little silly though. If it were $50, I would get the charm, but I’m sure it’s thousands. Plus, it reminds me of one of Dr. Seuss’s Who’s who had an unfortunate accident. Where do you fall on the debate: cute or morbid?

I can’t believe someone would actually buy this period. Unless it’s a gag gift.

without a doubt creepy and the sad things is that it probably costs a lot of money and it will be bought because of that.

I agree, it’s a little creepy. At first I thought it might be cute for kids but after checking it out again I wouldn’t give it to them either.

  7. Loren,
I believe this would fall under the category of a Morbid Unfortunate Accident and “What Not To Wear”. It is definitely trendy, but runs the risk of giving bad dreams to children!
