Solid-color dresses ruled at the Academy Awards – just look at Twilight stars Anna Kendrick and Kristen Stewart. I lean towards one color gowns myself, but I couldn’t take my eyes off of Maggie Gyllenhaal’s strapless, Impressionist-print sheath by Dries Van Noten. Just the fact that she wore a print set her apart, and now I feel inspired to step out of the box with my clothing choices next time I go to an event!

Anna Kendrick was by far my favorite! She looked absolutely gorgeous! Solid colors and the delicate look she had is definitely by style. I just can’t do the bare shoulders.
