Yay or Nay? Men’s (denim!) Dress Shirts

July 28th // 7 Comments

When a man wears sneakers with a suit, it can be appropriate and stylish if in the right setting. However, here is Zac Efron heading over to NBC’s Today show yesterday and not only is he rockin’ the dressed-up sneaker look, he paired it with a denim shirt:

To my male readers, this poses a question. Would you wear this outfit?

To my ladies, also a question. What do you think of Zac’s outfit?

Let me know your answers in the comments section!

Love,

Loren

I’m not so sure about denim shirts, but I have to say, Zac looks good whatever he wore! It’s really just in the way you carry yourself.

I don’t really have a problem with denim shirts at all, but wouldn’t pair it with a tie…then again if I’m honest I look for any excuse NOT to wear a tie!!

Well, Denim is nice but I find when it comes to shirts they look to wrinkley unless they are a heavier weight shirt. So I vote No for the light weight denim look.

  6. Denim is a male orientated fabric. Started with the cowboys. Wrangler was the first real jean. Demim shirts on Men are the orininal target audience in my mind. Looks great on women, but really great on men.

  7. Well i would have a hard time pairing it with dress pants. maybe black jeans. What kind of tie would make that work? Not a fan of the shoes either a dress shoe or boot would work I think. hmmmm really I wouldn’t have gone out the house with this outfit.
