I’ve been veering off the beaten path and using gold + plum for a smokey eye instead of the usual brown and black shades – what do you think? My new favorite combo is Motives Pressed Eyeshadow in Bronze Beauty with Motives Pressed Eyeshadow in Ecstasy:
While the gold may not be that unexpected, paired with purple this is such a fun, glam look! Do you use “different” colors to create a smokey eye?

Love these colors you’ve chosen Loren. I use Motives Green Tea and Motives Vino for my favorite smokey eye look. Sometimes I dab a little Motives Gold Rush on the center to inner lid for a different look too. All gorgeous colors! And long lasting. I love my Motives!
