Okay.. so just so yal all know. the guy who drew these is very talented and didnt need to be someones cousin to get these on the web. He goes to my old school.. a town in the middle of NOWHERE thats as big as some of the gated communities in lager towns. He draws n paints bcuz its his passion. and to be clear i think the princesses needed a new look.. theses painting wasnt ment for a 5 year old.. they were ment for the kids who grew up watching them and are now older.. and i quiet enjoy them. there are adult costumes of the Disney princesses that are WAY more revealing than theses paintings but thats okay too cause there ment for ADULTS. People who disagree are just small minded

First of all I don’t think little girl would just hop on the computer go on THIS website just to look at these photos. Second, Vogue magazine is for adult-women. So of course it’s not meant to be for little girls. O.k.

  4. These were found from an artist on Deviant Art and are not directly associated with Vogue in any way

Seriously, these are the ugliest things, are these real? Because who ever hired this person must’ve been someone’s cousin and needed a favor. Seriously, you can find better and less classless disney princess art on Deviant Art. There’s so many talented folks out there. Why didn’t they use one of them?

The disney princesses don’t need to ALSO be sexualized. Also, those renderings are very poor, and rather boring for magazine covers. This whole project needs a rethink.

Vogue is a Women’s Magazine, as is Cosmopolitan and so forth, so ladies with fashion style and glamour lets ENJOY the grace of ART of Disney put together. I think its brilliant and risky which is totally Amazing.

Get a grip, ladies! Vogue is–and never was–for little girls, or really, teenagers. It’s not Highlights nor Seventeen. Nor is it Hustler. It’s an high-fashion, high-glamour, high-style m-a-g-a-z-i-n-e. It reports on all things fashion. And, it’s totally within its parameters to conjecture what classics of literature would look like and wear today. Remember, the brothers Grimm and others came up with some pretty racy and brutal themes for their day, e.g., Rapunzel, Snow White, Cinderella, and your mothers and grandmothers made it through their childhoods okay. If you don’t bring home Playboy, then don’t bring home this issue of Vogue. Just appreciate it for the art of illustration it is. If you make a big deal of it, then so will your girls.

I for one love them and would want them for myself. They may be a lil mature for little girls but could totally see them in like a teenagers room.

I honestly can’t decide which is worse, the pornification of characters meant for little girls, the fact that some women “ooh and ahh” over it without the slightest clue of the much larger cultural impact, or the fact that whenever women do speak up against it, we always have to preface our statement of disgust with a disqualifier about how we’re not prudes, we’re just sick to death of what this culture is doing to our daughters and the messages it’s sending to young men about how to treat women.

Thank God for women like you, Teri.

These are godawful tacky! I would never let my daughter get a hold of these. It’s bad enough Disney princess movies make her want to play kissing with dolls and finding a prince to marry, but I’m tired of having to shield the innocenct from twisted perversions displayed in mass publications. I’m no angel (you don’t have kids because you abstain from sexy time) but I prefer to enjoy adult jokes and twisting of popular children fodder for private adult conversation. The fact that even this article’s author thinks it’s okay for young girls to slash their skirts to a pantyline and bust out the T & A to be a “fashionista” is utterly ridiculous and more of the same bullshit that makes me cry at night for all the pedophilia victims in the world. Children are only innocent for less than 20 years. Let them have it and give us parents a break. PLEASE!!!!!

I love them i really do but a little to sexy for little girls, i like the normal Princesses better. however they are very stylish just a little to sexual for my taste.
