Vogue got to chat backstage with Orlando Pita, hairstylist at the Oscar de la Renta spring 2012 show. I love the “romantic, renaissance” look Pita created on the models and he told the magazine exactly how to achieve it at home:
Pita created dozens of tiny braids along the head, then pressed each one between the plates of a flat iron to set the wave in place. After they’d cooled, he unraveled them and began brushing—and brushing—until they’d reached full volume.
One of my favorite fashion week hairstyles so far! Are you going to try this for yourself?

I’ve spent half my life trying NOT to look like that. Off the runway, it ain’t no fun, nor glamour, it’s just frizzy. Only someone with straight hair thinks that’s cool, and that’s because it’s only temporary.
AND–FIXX are the ONLY products that have produced soft, luxurious curls with shine and bounce. I use thick hair shampoo & conditioner, plus argan oil conditioner, followed by volumizing boost spray on towel-dried hair. No frizz; happy gal.
