I’m not really a big fan of the cold but it’s pretty much impossible to ignore the huge snowstorm that just hit the Northeast last weekend. I need to stop being in denial and give in and go shopping for a coat! So far there are three really fab and affordable coats for curvy girls and don’t know which to choose! Help? Here are three tips to keep in mind when shopping for coats that flatter a woman’s curves!
- Draw attention UP. Faux-fur neck details on this coat from H&M divert eyes from the hips.
- Confidence is everything! Rock a bold color and a belt at the waist to show off your hourglass figure with this option from ASOS.
- Capes like this fleece one actually look great on everyone, but keep the volume on top and opt for body-conscious bottoms.

the red is absolutely stunning i want it

I don’t usually respond, but I need a coat also, and I LOVE the first two choices. I do not like the cape at all. Capes need interesting detailing so they don’t look like a sack. Now I disagree with the first person who responded. I think that the fur on the first coat is so similar to your hair color, and the fact that you have so very much hair – I think you may end up looking like a bear! Your dark hair against the red, however, would be a wonderful contrast, and striking. The shape is great for you too as you have a great hourglass shape. I, however, am a strawberry blond, so the red would be icky on me – so I am going to have to go with the black and fur!

I think the faux-fur one would look great on you the color of the faux-fur will enhance your hair color. Love the read as well lol but i’d go for the faux-fur, has more style, brings out confidence somehow lol
