  • Ask the manicurist to keep your nails on the shorter side and to groom your cuticle
  • Keep the base of your nails clean
  • Use a cuticle oil
  • Make sure the manicurist applies a base and top coat
  • Try different nail options like nail art, Minx nails or a gel manicure

I happen to be a manicurist and would like to add one more tip. If you apply an extra coating of top coat a day or two after your manicure, it can help it last a little longer.

Great tips…….I always have that problem. I find if you top the Polish with a glitter color…..or choose a color with glitter in it………..it will last longer:)
