Bridal Fashion Week: All About Volume

October 21st // 5 Comments

Bridal Fashion Week saw a lot of top trends from our favorite designers like embellished necklines at Marchesa, shorter dresses at Nicole Miller and Kate Middleton-inspired lace at Monique Lhuillier. But nothing was more over the top than the attention-grabbing, voluminous styles that hit the runway. From mermaid to ball gowns to high low hems, every bridal collection featured a statement dress that would leave no question about who should be the center of attention on the big day.

Do you have the bigger the better mentality when it comes to a wedding gown? Then check out these three dresses below from Douglas Hannant, Reem Acra and Vera Wang and let me know what you think on Twitter @lorenridinger! xo

Yuck! I don’t like any of them! :( I think the 2nd one has potential if it were all one length – LONG. I guess you can count me as a traditionalist when it comes to wedding dresses. I think the first one looks like a bunch of napkins put together!

  2. I like each one. First one, just for its statement value. Second one just shouts summer in the islands destination wedding. Third, love Vera. In this instant I really think the piece at the neck diminishes the dress somewhat.

I like them all, although the short dress is a little too short for me, but love the style.
