Motives Cosmetics for the Early Detection of Breast Cancer

October 2nd // 6 Comments

As women, breast cancer effects us all. Everyone knows someone who has suffered, and following the discovery of a rare Phyllodes tumor in my breast last year, the cause is more important to me than ever. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, my makeup line Motives Cosmetics will donate $1 per Motives Mineral Lipstick in Aware sold to Earlier.org.

Earlier.org is an amazing organization whom we also partnered with last year and it is an honor to work with them again; I fully support their mission for early detection. On behalf of Motives Cosmetics and Earlier.org I want to thank everyone for helping us spread awareness about saving lives through the early detection of breast cancer with the purchase of a beautiful pink lipstick. It is appreciated more than you can know. xo

WOW I just read your article in the Huffington Post. I never saw it before. Absolutely amazing! The one thing I got out of it, the one thing that I mainly get out of your posts is to educate yourself and keep prodding the doctors until you get what you want done.

My mother had to have MRI’s done because the mammograms and ultrasounds didn’t see the lump properly. She was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and had a double mastectomy.

Thank you for posting this info. Now to go check out the lipstick! :-)
