Mark your calendars because predictions are that Nicole Richie’s clothing line for Macy’s will completely sell out in under two weeks! In addition to her House of Harlow, Winter Kate and Nicole Richie for QVC collections, the designer will roll out a new capsule collection for Macy’s come September. Macy’s designer collaborations have been nothing but flawless over the last year and I can’t wait to see what Nicole Richie brings to the table! Here’s what the Fashion Star judge had to say about her Nicole Richie for Impulse collection:
“Women are wearing so many different hats these days. We are evolving. Not just working, but creating. This collection has a strong mix of masculine and feminine: printed chiffon mixed with faux leathers. I focused on the details, from the zipper pulls to the buttons.”
Been watching “Fashion Star” and her current new line was shown on the runway on the past show. There wasn’t a dud anywhere–it was flawless. I was amazed; she certainly broke from my past knowledge of her. She’s not the little sidekick anymore! This woman has style and understands what’s wanted. We’ll buy her clothes because they’re cool, wearable, and affordable. Home run.

I wouldn’t buy something just because of a certain designer. Haven’t seen any of the line, just a description of it and that’s not enough, but thanks for the headsup. I’ll be looking for it and then be able to better decide.
