So many comments today on my new Ruthie Davis Lexi spiked sandals! I wore them for Market America World Conference rehearsals this afternoon and the Motives meeting tonight, which was amazing and I’m so glad La got to come with me and talk a little bit about Motives for La La before the big launch tomorrow.

mmmm. Guys. This is a fashion blog. Of course fashion will be discussed. I’m not a fashionista by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoy looking at what’s out there. It’s fun!
From a business perspective, I appreciate that Loren is on top of trends. Part of our business is beauty and style. Our leaders need to know what’s going on in these areas. The Motives line reflects this knowledge and that only benefits us.
Surprised at how unkindly the comments were worded – not reflective of my experience with Market America folk.

Um, I don’t find this “showing off” as I didn’t pay attention to how much these pair might cost or which famous designer makes them. I just see them as fun shoes & love the designs, though they have to be with lower heels for me to wear them. Fashion is just like art. People value different things differently & that’s part of the fun! Chill, people~

I’m in agreement with you Amy. I’ll take it one step further and say that there is just way too much emphasis put on what people wear. It’s just stuff and it doesn’t really matter but somehow, to some people, they think it’s so very important. I have a sense of fashion and enjoy looking nice but enough already! Does it matter that someone is wearing the latest ,expensive designer clothes? It’s all so superficial! Don’t see the importance of getting so caught up in all of this. I enjoy life and just put my interest in things that matter-just saying.
