In Vegas: 2013 Billboard Music Awards Blue Carpet Photos

It’s summer in Vegas so it only seems right that the celebs would be crazy for cutouts and peek-a-boo sheer at tonight’s Billboard Music Awards. The show’s blue carpet was star-studded, seeing everyone from Miguel to The Band Perry to my girl Jennifer Lopez. Hello, my name is Shane and I confess… I have a crush on orange! Orange is my go-to color this summer. It’s something about orange that just makes me happy! I actually have to tell myself, “No more orange!” I recently purchased this Tangerine print shirt from J. Crew and it is undoubtedly my favorite. It’s lightweight, which makes it perfect for cool days or nights, and can be worn with jeans and a blazer, or for warmer days, roll up the sleeves and throw it on with some denim shorts.

The weather was quite cool this weekend, so I wore my lovely tangerine shirt with jeans and heels. What is your go-to color this summer?

Dry the orange peels and grind into a scrub
Dip a cotton ball into fresh orange juice to close enlarged pores
Rub half an orange over your face as a toner, rinse after 5 minutes

Eat oranges for vitamin C, which helps with detox and aging
