Aside from the royal wedding… this might be my favorite Kate Middleton look. Despite rampant pregnancy rumors, a slim Kate accompanied husband Prince William to the “Night of Heroes” military awards event in London yesterday while looking absolutely gorgeous in a velvet, strapless Alexander McQueen gown. Her simple makeup and signature waves balanced out the dramatic dress for a stunning overall effect. Just beautiful!

I am obsessed with this one shoulder Elie Saab dress – the ruching is incredibly flattering and a gown is the go-to length for important red carpet events like the Emmys or the Oscars. Add a classic YSL platform (I have so many of these in every color) and beaded Judith Leiber clutch to tie in the black spinel earrings. Old Hollywood glam at its best…. love it. xo
