Did you all watch the end of The Masters tournament a few weeks ago? It was an amazing moment, and the gasps in our living room grew even louder when Phil Mickelson took off his cap to be interviewed. In case you missed it, the moment clearly illustrated the limits of golf- and baseball caps in the sun protection department.

For me, wearing makeup is about looking brighter, healthier and sexier. With this in mind, I can’t overstate the importance of blending everything perfectly. Even if you’re wearing a smoky eye, you don’t want the effect to look harsh or hard-edged. One easy way to get this done is to apply your makeup with Motives’ expert brushes, which allow for more precise application and blending. Another handy trick: Once you’ve finished applying your makeup, take a velour puff and lightly sweep it over your face. Finally, if you have any fine lines at the outer corners of your eyes, dab a touch of eye cream there to soften the whole effect. I tell my girlfriends all the time—and pretty much anyone else that will listen—the secret to great skin is as much about what you do at night, as it is during the day. So give your skin that little extra attention before bed with a new routine. Here, a daily guide to getting noticeably better skin in less than 10 minutes a day.
Sunday: Start your week off with a Cellular Laboratories Face-Lifting Masque. Wash your face first with Cellular Laboratories De-Aging Cleansing Emulsion, then apply the purifying sheet directly to your skin. Leave the masque on for 10 minutes. You will feel it start to slightly harden right before it’s ready for removal. Dispose of the sheet after use. You will notice softer, brighter skin right away.
Monday: Cleanse skin with Cellular Laboratories De-Aging Cleansing Emulsion. Pat face dry, then immediately apply a finger-sized amount of Cellular Laboratories De-Aging Eye Cream to your eyes and Cellular Laboratories De-Aging Cream to your face and neck. You want to apply both creams while your skin is freshly washed, so the product is allowed to sink in.
