There are a number of celebrities who have spoken out about wanting to give the legendary Britney Spears a makeover. It looks like the talented people over at Harper’s Bazaar got their chance because the girl looks gorgeous on their June cover! The long white Bill Blass dress (with cutouts!) and star-studded Dolce & Gabbana gown show off Brit’s best assets:

The unpredictable Britney Spears was spotted leaving a Starbucks yesterday while wearing an interesting combo. Possibly a pajama tank and shorts? I’ve decided not to include the photo of her from behind (because it was so inappropriate) but here she is walking through the parking lot:

Why Changing Your Hair Color Means Changing Your Makeup

When you change your hair color (a la the newly-brunettes Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie) do you change your makeup, too? I find that it’s a terrific opportunity to experiment with lip, cheek and eye-shadow colors. (Your foundation, which needs to match your skin tone, should always stay a constant!!) Anyway, here’s my rule of thumb, which I learned from a makeup artist-friend: If you’re taking your hair in a brighter direction – strawberry blonde, coppery red or rich chestnut – a shift to softer, neutral shades on your eyes and lips can look amazing. (I love our bestselling Motives Lip Shine in Candlelight, $10.50.) Alternately, if you’re going blonder or darker, you can get away with bolder, more dramatic hues: red lips or a lush smoky eye.

I always take my hair a little darker in the winter. Am I wrong for feeling like, even in Miami, we should have a change of seasons, too?

My Worst Dressed Picks for the Grammy Awards’ Red Carpet. Do You Agree? Disagree?

I pretty much planned my relaxing evening around watching the Grammy Awards last night – and the red carpet really bummed me out! I was so disappointed… nothing wowed me, to say the least. Instead of a gallery of who I thought should win Best Dressed, here are some photos of people who either need to hire a stylist, or get a new one.

When I heard Brit was making an appearance at the Grammy’s after years of being MIA, I was excited. Until this:

All of the glitter, sequins and metallics had me thinking Star Trek the whole time! On the plus side, there were interesting necklines, beautiful hair and makeup and Lady Gaga’s creations (cannot call them outfits!) that made the red carpet worth watching.
