Sneak Peek at Suki Cheema

Suki Cheema, besides having a truly fun name to say, used to be the head print designer for Diane von Furstenberg. There’s a good chance if you’ve bought anything with a pattern from DVF in the last few years, Suki Cheema was the one who created it. And now, the Brooklyn-based artist is applying his skills to a whole other medium: home furnishings. His just launched line includes embroidered throw pillows, graphic rugs, cool quilts, even table linens.

As you guys know, I was presented with the 2010 Fashion Group International Entrepreneur of the Year Award at FASHIONmiami a few weeks ago! I wanted to share some more information about FGI with you: they are the largest non-profit, global organization with members in the fashion and beauty industries like Anna Wintour, Diane von Fursentberg and Evelyn Lauder, just to name a few.
