NYFW Report: Touches of Western, Navajo, Victorian and Prairie at Ralph Lauren for Spring 2011

Just because I’m in Venice with my family does not mean I haven’t been keeping up with all things Fashion Week over in NYC. Ralph Lauren‘s Western + Navajo + Victorian + Prairie collection just debuted and I’m already hearing amazing things! It may seem like a strange combo of trends, but it works. The photos of leather vests, lace necklines, fringe handbags and stunning neutrals have me believing there is no way the public will wait until Spring to jump on this look; the ode to traditional American mixed with frivolous, feminine details is too hard to resist.

Golf Style Essentials: Will Smith

Unless you’ve been living on Planet tk, you’ve no doubt heard that Tiger Woods is planning to return to golf at next month’s Master’s tournament. This comes as especially happy news for the golfing industry, especially as spring is when most golfers gear up. And while Tiger’s still clawing his way back, why not borrow the style of my favorite celebrity golfer, Will Smith? His golf clothes are classic and not even borderline costumey or sloppy – just cool.
