One of the most anticipated shows each Paris Fashion Week, Chanel never fails to shock the crowd with not only fabulous clothing but the atmosphere. For Fall 2012 Karl Lagerfeld had the models strut down a runway filled with crystals and stalagmites (science class, anyone?) it was so unique! Layers, fabulous jackets and blinged out eyebrows were also spotted as top trends on the Chanel Fall 2012 runway.

My favorites from the Armani Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear Collection at Milan Fashion Week. Giorgio Armani’s Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear collection wrapped up Milan Fashion Week on Monday and I was mesmerized by how gorgeous the chic designs were. The collection featured some jawdropping contrasts of color and silhouettes along with an array of fabrics and details like sequins, rosettes, and fur. Fedoras and menswear-inspired pieces gave the collection a touch of masculinity and formality. I love the mixing and matching!
But the real story here is color—and lots of it. Sophisticated blacks are paired with colorblocked bold pinks, oranges, and reds. This is a collection for the lady who is not afraid to play, and when she does, she plays for keeps.

I always look forward to Milan Fashion Week and the classics like Versace and Gucci show off what’s coming for next season. The devil is in the details – get those right and you will look amazing Milan Fashion Week has had no shortage of unexpected but wearable pieces. Seems like color-blocking is here to stay through the fall! BCBG Fall 2012 premiered yesterday during the start of New York Fashion Week and I was loving the updated retro vibe – breezy dresses with bold stripes of color and bit of sheer, lots of fur accents and simple but exaggerated cat eyes.
