Peter Som and Jason Wu both showed beautiful spring collections today at New York Fashion Week. Each line incorporated florals and retro cuts: you’ll see more athletic lines at Peter Som with bright, realistic flowers and a feminine silhouette with suggestions of petals at Jason Wu. Which is your favorite?

Shades of black, blue, peach, purple and silver made their way down the runway during Zac Posen’s fall 2011 show for Paris Fashion Week. The fitted jackets and cropped pants are wearable and will flatter any body type, while the few floor sweeping dresses have just the right amount of drama:

Femme fatale meets menswear dominated the runway at Salvatore Ferragamo on Sunday for Milan Fashion Week. The fall 2011 collection featured shades of black, white and gray in pinstripe, houndstooth and leather accents.
So my style, don’t you think? The designs remind me of an outfit I wore at World Conference!

I want to snap my fingers and see everything from Carolina Herrera’s Fall 2011 RTW collection magically appear in my closet. Herrera told Vogue magazine backstage at her show that “the inspiration is the real women who are going to wear these clothes!” You can see her statement really translates into the designs – her clothes and accessories will look fabulous on all shapes and sizes.
