I just can’t get enough of these Target collaborations. And especially when shoes are involved… well, there is just no hope for me I can’t stay away. The newest designer duo teaming up with the retailer is Sam and Libby of Sam Edelman shoes, bringing the masses their sexy peep toe platforms, iconic sandals, ballet flats and loafers at half the price (think $64-$100+ at the department store vs $25-$35 at Target). Win win!
Designer Collab: Sam & Libby at Target Summer Sandals
A passion for style, shoes, and for each other. New York based couple Sam and Libby created their namesake brand in 1988. Combining understated elegance and exceptional materials, these talented designers bring their chic, contemporary aesthetic to everything they design.
If you’ve picked up your own pair of Sam and Libby at Target sandals, tweet me a pic! I’d love to see. Click here to start shopping. xo

Word on the street is that Downton Abbey will be rolling out a beauty and clothing line over the next year. From Marc Jacobs to Ralph Lauren, the steamy British TV show is inspiring designers everywhere, and it doesn’t just stop at clothing. Gareth Neame, the show’s executive producer says, confirmed that “we’ll be working across an entire range of products coming out this year. From fashion, apparel, and homeware and furniture to wallpapers, beauty products, and stationary.”
Gareth Neame Confirms Downton Abbey Clothing Line
The costuming in the show is gorgeous and intricate – from lavish fur trimmed coats to headpieces that are out of this world. And while we aren’t sure of an exact launch date for the show-inspired collection, it’s also been reported that a contract to develop this merchandise was effective last summer. That must mean it’s coming out soon, right?
I’m super excited about the possibility of a Downton Abby clothing line! Are you?

Diane von Furstenberg‘s second collaboration with Gap is too cute! The Explorers Collection, which hits Gap Kids and Baby Gap stores tomorrow, “is all about adventure, with the same attention to color and print. I think the result is playful and perfect for the little explorers of the world.” The designer has worked her signature bold patterns into African-inspired safari shirts, shorts, dresses, swimwear and adorable accessories like sun hats and espadrilles!

Flip flops and sandals aren’t the only summer shoe that should be on your shopping list this season. Soludos has partnered with South African designers Alice and Olivia for a collection of colorfully-printed flat espadrilles, priced at an incredibly affordable $45. Denim cutoffs or a cute t-shirt dress complete your casual, warm weather weekend look.
Spring Must Have Under $50! Soludos x Lalesso Espadrilles
“The birth of Lalesso was inspired by the East African ‘khanga’ or ‘lesso’ as it is also known. The khanga is a vibrantly colored and intricately patterned sarong that is worn by coastal Swahili women all across East Africa. The designs of the Soludos x Lalesso espadrille feature an interpretation of these beautiful prints, daintly catered to adorn one’s feet.”
Don’t you think these are just the perfect wardrobe addition for summer? Which print is your favorite (mine is spearhead!)? Check out the full collaboration here.
