Word on the street is that Downton Abbey will be rolling out a beauty and clothing line over the next year. From Marc Jacobs to Ralph Lauren, the steamy British TV show is inspiring designers everywhere, and it doesn’t just stop at clothing. Gareth Neame, the show’s executive producer says, confirmed that “we’ll be working across an entire range of products coming out this year. From fashion, apparel, and homeware and furniture to wallpapers, beauty products, and stationary.”

The costuming in the show is gorgeous and intricate – from lavish fur trimmed coats to headpieces that are out of this world. And while we aren’t sure of an exact launch date for the show-inspired collection, it’s also been reported that a contract to develop this merchandise was effective last summer. That must mean it’s coming out soon, right?

Flip flops and sandals aren’t the only summer shoe that should be on your shopping list this season. Beyonce kicked off her Mrs Carter Show world tour in Serbia yesterday and Peter Dundas of Pucci has released sketches of the label’s contribution to Queen Bey’s concert wardrobe, which also includes custom looks from Dsquared2 and shoes by Stuart Weitzman.
