How I Saved Over $300 Shopping at Kohl’s!

Today was one of my favorite days during World Conference because I got to talk about – guess what – SAVING MONEY! While on stage this morning Marc and I revealed one of my recent shopping binges on kohls.com, except it wasn’t really a binge because I saved over $300!! One outfit for JR + one outfit for me = $100. Can you believe it?!

The jacket was marked down from $80 to $24; those kind of sale prices combined with a Hot Deal and Cashback, well… how could I not have saved a ton of money?

Completely Cool… and Totally Affordable! Rachel Roy’s Cotton T-Shirts

RACHEL Rachel Roy’s cotton t-shirts are every good thing: They come with a great fit and in nice fabric in a gorgeous color range – plus, the prices are a fraction of what Roy’s high-end designs would run you. In the February issue of Real Simple, the designer admits to wearing the tees with everything from vintage men’s Levis (her jeans of choice) to long evening skirts. And I can see why: The shades – from stone to shell pink to sea glass — are muted and earthy but not at all drab. It’s a tough balance to strike; Roy has done it to perfection.

Men’s Style, Part II: The Charm (and unbeatable warmth) of the Three-Piece Suit

A three-piece suit can look, on first consideration, utterly tasteful, straightforward and warm – and it is all of those things. But it can also be crazily elegant and cool. (Cue Bradley Cooper’s recent appearance on Letterman.) Even though it feels like spring down here in Miami, I know for some of you winter is still alive and well. Even so, I am jealous of those of you who get to wear super cute coats like these! It’s hard to say whether it’s the sleeping-bag coziness of a puffer coat, the weightless quality, or the fact that they’re toasty and sophisticated – but this look totally works for me.
