I know I missed my weekly shoe feature last Saturday but with Amber and Duane’s royal wedding, we decided to share her “something blue” custom Louboutins on the blog instead! I’m back today though with another pair of Christian Louboutin booties! The mesh is fantastic for summer (can still show off your pedicure!) and the dip in front is super sexy. Not quite a sandal but not necessarily a winter boot, either. Paired with leather trim that’s adorned with spikes, these shoes had to be mine.

Since we already revealed the wedding gown… now on to the shoes! Amber’s wedding shoes were a custom made work of art by Christian Louboutin. The whimsical embellishments and overall design were influenced by the fantasy, fairytale theme of her wedding and we couldn’t have pictured a more beautiful heel. Every detail was pure magic and as you can see from the photo, the sole isn’t the iconic Louboutin red, but blue! Amber truly has incredible vision.

Yesterday was the most perfect day and after a week in Puerto Rico finalizing all the details of Amber and Duane’s Royal Wedding with celebrity wedding planner Preston Bailey, April 6 2013 will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts. With 175 guests including La La Anthony, Khloe Kardashian, the Pippens, Eva Longoria, Maxwell, Fat Joe, Marc Anthony and Mary J Blige dancing the night away in a fairytale-inspired theme, the night couldn’t have been more beautiful.
Amber wore a stunning custom gown by J’Aton Couture and diamonds by Jacob the Jeweler. She was breathtaking – the dress, the veil, the headpiece – everyone was floored when she walked down the aisle. She changed into a second dress that was just as fabulous later on in the reception.
I wanted to share a few exclusive photos we took of Amber’s wedding dress and of course we have more professional ones from the amazing people at World Red Eye that we will share soon.
