La La Looked Stunning for the 2013 Inaugural Weekend!

Lala Anthony spent the last few days in Washington, D.C. for the 2013 Inauguration and she looked absolutely fabulous. We are best friends (and you know how girls love to trade clothes ) and I was so excited when she decided to wear two of my gowns for her events during such an historic weekend!

Lala killed it in my incredible my vintage Lillie Rubin dress for the Hip Hop Inaugural Ball and then Zuhair Murad for last night’s Inaugural Ball following President Obama’s swearing in ceremony for his second term in office.

Every woman needs a black pair of heels but there’s nothing wrong with a little bit of embellishment every now and then I became a fan of Ruthie Davis a few years ago and the Ruthie Davis Odyssey Peep Toe Pump is really what sold me; the blinged out chain across the toe and sick stiletto detail was fresh and something I hadn’t really seen a shoe before. It’s still one of my favorites – and it’s this week’s shoe feature!

Peace Love World I Am LOVE Fleece Hoodie & Pants

Does anyone else have the holiday tradition of exchanging comfy Christmas clothes with their family? I always look forward to a fresh pair to start the new year (Amber wore hers on NYE!) and I was so grateful that my friends at Peace Love World sent me this beautiful package with fabulous slippers and a new set of sweats!

Loren Ridinger in French Connection for NYE 2013

We have spent the last few years ringing in the new year at our home in NYC, but for 2013 we decided to change it up and make a mini vacation out of it at our Bahamas bungalow in Cat Cay with all of our closest friends. A few days of relaxation on the beach, yoga, family dinners and of course, a little bit of work

I hope everyone had a happy and safe celebration last night! I posted photos on Instagram and received a couple of requests for where to purchase the shirt I wore – it is the French Connection Eye Dazzle T-Shirt and is still available for just $68. So simple and chic.
