This week, I’ve given you a number of great options to consider for the upcoming Gala. Now that we have dresses and undergarments taken care of, I figure we’d move on to jewelry.
Everyone loves sparkly things, jewelry is no exception. Often times though, we wear things that are too big or add a very different look (kind of like going with modern furniture in your home, but having an antique chair in the middle of the room). Jewelry can look great when paired with the correct dress. It does not have to be sparkly nor does it have to be gaudy.
I found two particular pieces that I felt would look great with the dresses from Saks that I mentioned earlier. What I liked most about them was their uniqueness.
The first piece is a cuff bracelet. This bracelet is simple, yet does not take away from the overall look of your outfit. This bracelet also features an Onyx gemstone and is available in sterling silver as well as 14k gold for about $300 from
James Avery.

The second piece that I found goes great with the second dress from
Saks Fifth Avenue. Bangle bracelets have been around for quite some time. What is great about them though is that you can wear one or a few, going from a simplistic look to unique style all your own. These bangles are currently on sale from
JewelBasket.com, ranging from $125 to $328 depending on the intricateness.

Remember, jewelry is an investment and each piece is unique!
Guy’s, I didn’t forget about you. Next week, I’ll show you some great fashion to keep you looking hot!
Love,
Loren
