“There’s nothing more fashionable than looking fashionable and giving back at the same time” or at least that’s what Nicky Hilton was quoted as saying about i/denti/tee – the new music tees she’s been seen wearing.

These tees come printed with some of the best lyrics of all-time on them! Here she has “I’m the only one.” I’ve got Jay-Z’s “I’m a hustler baby” along with Whitney Houston’s “I wanna dance with somebody (here’s looking at you JR).”

What’s also great about their tees is that they listen to what their customers want. If you go on their website you can vote for your favorite lyric and they’ll clear the most popular ones with the artist and print them. How cool is that? Kind of like having a direct link to the artist.

I was feeling inquisitive and did a bit more digging on their site and found out they’ve also partnered with Apple iTunes to give away 10 free songs with each tee purchased. The tees are supplied by Edun Live (Bono’s clothing line) as well – so each tee supports those who produce it in Sub-Saharan Africa (with the Apple iTunes downloads and the fact that I’m supporting a charitable cause, it made me feel a lot less guilty about spending the $55)! But the part I got a real kick out of – was when it arrived, it came packaged in a 12 inch record sleeve – how retro is that!
