It was announced yesterday that Stella McCartney has been chosen as the official creative director of the 2012 London Olympics, and as a plus, she’ll be dressing her home team! Stella was quoted by WWD saying, “as a British fashion designer it is an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be creative director of Team GB as the hosting nation of the London 2012 Olympic Games.”

In addition to the uniforms, there will be multiple collections just for the fans in her deal with Adidas (the official sponsor) and the Olympics – are you interested?
