You want to stop by the mall and buy a new pair of jeans. After hours of frustration, you head back home, denim-less. This scenario sound familiar? We’ve all been there and searching for a perfect pair of jeans can mess with even the most self-confident savvy shopper. That is why I love brands that offer a variety of denim styles for a range of different body types. I can try on different fits, washes and styles all in one place to find what works best.

The popular denim line 7 For All Mankind has eleven different fits to work with any woman’s preference. The classic A-Pocket is a great choice for many different body types and has a unique waistband that prevents gaping. The Ginger is a sophisticated trouser jean that is available in both a high waist and low rise. The Lexie is for petites and has various washes and leg opening options.
Ann Taylor Loft has three different fits, Curvy, Modern and Original in shapes like Skinny, Trouser, Wide, Straight, Boot Cut and the trendy Boyfriend. Sizes range from 00-18 and have interesting washes such as Rinse and Daylight.
New York & Company really works with your height (cutting down your bill at the tailor’s!) with jeans coming in Petite, Average and Tall. NY & Co. has hip styles like the Pencil and Boyfriend in addition to the classic Boot Cut in Low Rise, Mid Rise and Curvy. Love their new Eclipse, Nightshade and Vintage Monroe washes!
What is your favorite new denim style or wash?
