Two-Toned Shoes

April 5th // Comment Here

If color blocking scares you, start small. Start small with a really great pair of shoes! Two-toned shoes with different colored tips are popular in bright shades or metallics and you can try this trend on both flats and heels. My favorite are from the Christian Louboutin Unbout Illusion collection – the clear PVC plus neon pointy toe “makes it look like you’re walking on air.” So sexy and everyone is dying to get their hands on a pair for spring.

Of course I found similar pairs with the same two-toned tips for all different price ranges… Will you wear two-toned shoes?

Hi everyone! Color blocking has become one of the hottest trends to try for spring and after keeping my eye out during fashion week here in NYC, I don’t think it’s going anywhere during next fall, either. Go all out and color block your entire look with a bold jacket and pants or start small and work it out with a colorblocked bag or shoe. Here are my Part I color blocking picks at affordable prices!! xo

Instant Obsession: Rachel Zoe ‘Blake’ Sandal

December 6th // 2 Comments

Amber has been obsessing over the new shoes from Rachel Zoe’s latest collection! She called me this morning and now we are both debating which pair to pre-order from Nordstrom. They are insane!! I love them all but think the “Blake” sandal is my favorite… black and white is a classic combo and the laces in the back are really sexy.

Pre-order these styles today! So gorgeous!!

What to wear this weekend

October 14th // Comment Here

Since I got such great feedback on my shopping for emerald pieces post, here’s another way to incorporate bits of green into your wardrobe! Weekends can be a good time to recharge your batteries, catch up with friends and family… but that doesn’t mean you have to live in your sweats. A pair of dark wash denim jeans and a color-blocked sweater are the perfect comfy combo; simply add some chic accessories and you can be step-outside-stylish in just minutes.

Check out the green accents! What do you usually wear on the weekends?

NYFW S/S 2012: JILL STUART

September 11th // 1 Comment

One of my top three favorites from New York Fashion Week so far! Jill Stuart debuted a gorgeous Spring 2012 collection filled with nude, salmon, mint green, yellow and bold blocks of red. Drop-waist dresses have a casual silhouette and yet the sheer fabric and fun palm tree print take the design to a different level.

This line makes dressing feminine fun! Do you love it, too?
