Shopping on a budget is important no matter what your income – everyone loves to snag a good deal. Want to know where I go for high quality items at a low price? Here’s a quick guide for finding pieces that look like they cost way more than they actually do!

  • Flip flops? Buy 2 or more at Old Navy for $2.50 each! They revamped their flops to a rubber blend in trendy shades

Matthew Williamson for Macy’s

British designer Matthew Williamson’s collaboration with Macy’s has officially launched both in stores and online – have you checked it out yet? “The collection aims to capture the essence of the mainline brand, with a focus on effortless glamour; dynamic prints; loosely structured silhouettes, and pops of strong color,” Williamson told WWD.

Prices range from $50 to $300 for tops, bottoms, scarves, dresses and jackets… all feminine and flirty pieces that remind you of why celebs like Sienna Miller and Mischa Barton are such huge fans of his work!

It’s Official: H&M + Lanvin Collaboration On Sale This Fall!

There have been guesses, hints and teasers all over the Internet this week, but now we can say it is absolutely official: H&M‘s next designer collaboration is with celebrity-favored brand Lanvin! The collection, on sale November 23rd in H&M stores worldwide, will include both womenswear and menswear.

Sneak Peak – Sophie Theallet for Gap!

For those of you who are fans of  Michelle Obama’s fashion choices (I certainly am!) then you will be happy to know that you can now get your hands on an almost exact replica of her Sophie Theallet dress! Theallet, who is a winner of this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund competition, is now focused on building a lifestyle brand – starting with a collection for Gap. Check out a sketch of the more affordable version of her dress that was worn by the First Lady while in Ghana last summer:

As reported by WWD, “Theallet said she was inspired to ‘make beautiful dresses that would give [a hint to the Gap customer] what Sophie Theallet is all about. They’re easy to wear and they’re happy and colorful for summer.’ The designs are not far afield from those in her regular line, but are constructed from fabrics with a “more accessible” price, such as cotton. The finishing is also different and is produced by machine rather than by hand. As a result, a gathered top dress or a ruffle-tier dress are $248, a tie-front dress or a skirt is $198, and a tie-front top is $148.”

The dress will be unveiled today at Gap‘s concept store in NYC!
