Yesterday, I received a tremendous honor; I was awarded the 2009 Women of Substance & Style Award given by the Miami Project to Cure ParalysisThe main event will be held in March in Miami.

This particular award was given based on the following criteria; philanthropy, volunteerism, business acumen and lastly, sense of style!

Over the past year, I’ve worked with the Jennifer Lopez Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Mt. Sinai Hospital, the American Cancer Society, The Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, Friends of the Orphans, along with many other causes and organizations!

Thanks to everyone for their love and support in driving me to be give back and to help others to be successful!
